V4.0

Dr. Gilbert Ng studied chemistry in the U.S.A.  He received his B.S. degree from University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), and his M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees from Columbia University in the City of New York.   He specialized in drug design, especially the relationship between molecular structure and pharmacological effect.  He has published the results of his research on professional journals of chemistry.  In particular, his research focused on the causes of immune disorders and how to turn an antigen into a toleragen.   His doctoral thesis was on the modification of the poisonous compounds in poison ivy and turning them into antidotes, so that the scientific community can move another step forward to understanding type IV allergies.  This kind of basic research is important for scientists to know more about how to solve medical problems such as cancer, homograft rejection, and asthma.  His teacher, Professor Charles R. Dawson, received the Great Teacher Award in 1960 (voted by students of Columbia University), and he was also the teacher of famous science-fiction writer Dr. Isaac Asimov.   Dr. Asimov was the most prolific science-fiction writer in the world, with over 500 books in print.

During three consecutive years between 2004 to 2006, there were 3 to 5 Nobel Laureates every year who were affiliates (students, professors, or researchers) of Dr. Ng’s alma mater.  There were 2 in 2008.

Among 12 Nobel Laureates in 2004, 5 were affiliates of Dr. Ng’s alma mater:

l   David Gross, Nobel Laureate in Physics, was a professor at University of California

l   Irwin Rose, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, was a professor at University of California

l   Richard Axel, Nobel Laureate in Medicine, was a professor at Columbia University

l   Linda B. Buck, Nobel Laureate in Medicine, was a post-doctoral researcher at Columbia University

l   Finn E. Kydland, Nobel Laureate in Economics, was a professor at University of California

Among 11 Nobel Laureates in 2005, 3 were affiliates of Dr. Ng’s alma mater:

l   Robert H. Grubbs, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, received his training and Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Columbia University

l   Richard R. Schrock, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, graduated from University of California

l   Thomas Schelling, Nobel Laureate in Economics, graduated from University of California

Among 8 Nobel Laureates in 2005, 4 were affiliates of Dr. Ng’s alma mater:

l   Andrew Z. Fire, Nobel Laureate in Medicine, graduated from University of California

l   George F. Smoot, Nobel Laureate in Physics, was a professor at University of California

l   John C. Mather, Nobel Laureate in Physics, received his training and Ph.D. degree in Physics from University of California

l   Edmund S. Phelps, Nobel Laureate in Economics, was a professor at Columbia University

Among 3 Nobel Laureates in Chemistry in 2008, 2 were affiliates of Dr. Ng’s alma mater:

l   Martin Chalfie, was a professor at Columbia University

l   Roger Yonchien Tsien, was a professor at University of California

University of California

University of California produced the largest number of Nobel Laureates in the world, claiming 112 Prizes in its history, won by students, professors, and researchers, which was more than Harvard University.  Its Chemistry Department enjoys the greatest reputation in the world.  17 Nobel Laureates in Chemistry have taught at its Chemistry Department, which is certainly the top institution, including Roger Yonchien Tsien, one of the 2008 Nobel Laureates in Chemistry.  The Los Angeles campus where Dr. Ng received his education, produced the largest number of Nobel Laureates in Chemistry among all campuses.

It took Dr. Ng only two and a half years to finish a four-year university education, graduating with honors.

Chemistry Professors who had taught Dr. Gilbert Ng were:
Dr. Donald J. Cram, 1987 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, who taught at UCLA from 1947 to 1987; and
Paul D. Boyer, 1997 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, who has been teaching at UCLA since 1963.

While studying at UCLA, Dr. Ng took many other courses in addition to Chemistry.  He studied speed-reading, memorization skills, economics, psychology, and organ music performance.  He also taught himself computer programming.

Columbia University in the City of New York

Columbia University in the City of New York is one of the best-known universities in the world.  It was founded in 1754, before the Declaration of Independence of the U.S.A.  The late President Dwight D. Eisenhower served as President of this university in 1948-1953.  Academically, Columbia occupies the highest leadership position.  94 of its professors, students and researchers received Nobel Prizes, including the first Chinese Nobel Laureate, Dr. Tsung-Dao Lee, and the 2004 Nobel Laureates in Physiology or Medicine, Dr. Richard Axel and Dr. Linda B. Buck, the 2006 Nobel Laureate in Economics, Edmund S. Phelps, and the 2008 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, Martin Chalfie.  The historical invention of the atomic bomb took place on campus at Columbia University.  In 2008, the Number One top EMBA course in the world, was run by Columbia University in collaboration with London University.  When the first delegation of American scientists visited the Soviet Union, the leader of the delegation was the Chairman of the Chemistry Department of Columbia University, Dr. Ronald Breslow, who was also one of Dr. Ng’s teachers.  Dr. Ng received the top grade A in his biochemistry class, and was the first student to hand in the papers in the examination.

The 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, also graduated from Columbia University, in 1983.

The Year 2000 was the Centennial of Nobel Prizes.  All three science prizes (Physics, Chemistry, and Medicine) in that year included professors in one of Dr. Ng’s alma mater.

In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Ng has also accumulated over twenty years of first-hand experience in international trading, manufacturing, production management, quality control and assurance, and new product design and development.

In recent years, Dr. Ng has been focusing his efforts on the research and marketing of Reishi, Cordyceps, and other health supplements.  Through his talks, people all over the world turned from skepticism to belief, leading to great improvements to their health. Among them are patients who have recovered from incurable diseases, famous Chinese doctors, physicians, nurses, professors, nutritionists, lawyers, musicians, clergymen, teachers, politicians, artists, and people from all walks of life.

Since the founding of Rejuveno Worldwide Ltd., the many products personally developed by Dr. Ng have been distributed to over a dozen countries on 5 continents all over the world, enabling peoples from different ethnic backgrounds to improve their health immensely.  Dr. Ng used to suffer from many chronic diseases himself for over 40 years, including asthma, allergic rhinitis, migraine headache, insomnia, liver disease, hair loss, CFS, and boils.  So he cares a lot about the feelings, the pain and sufferings of other patients.  Even since he founded Rejuveno, he has no more need to depend on any medical doctor for treatment.

For many years, the products manufactured under Dr. Ng’s supervision have all maintained the top quality level, with no need for any recall whatsoever.

Dr. Ng’s wife also graduated from a famous American university.  She has over thirty years of first-hand experience with business management.  She is a director and one of the founders of Rejuveno Worldwide Ltd.  Dr. and Mrs. Ng have two children, a daughter and a son, who have both graduated from UCLA and Columbia University.
