Mrs. Cheung, former breast cancer patient

December 11, 2000

Mrs. Cheung of Hong Kong used to have breast cancer, and had to go through surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy.

During the Millenium Christmas Party on Dec. 8, 2000, Mrs. Cheung told the audience:

Hello! How are you? Are you happy about the food? I am also very happy!

First of all I want to thank my God. Jesus whom I believe has cured me. I also thank Dr. Ng and Mrs. Ng. They have been my friends for several decades. We knew each other in church since we were teenagers. When I was sick, not only did they care about me, they really took action. When I entered the hospital for surgery, they came a long way from their home to pray for me. Also, Mrs. Ng frequently accompanied me to the hospital. Of course they also recommended Reishi to me.

What kind of disease did I have? You can see that my face looks good now. Am I beautiful? Energetic? Good-looking? Although I can't say that I am beautiful, at least my appearance is fair. Actually two years ago I suffered from cancer. I had what Hong Kong people today feel dreadful. The ladies go "errrrr……" when they hear about it. It was breast cancer!

When I was diagnosed with breat cancer, I had to go through surgery. After surgery were extra "gifts": the desserts, two of them! One of them was chemotherapy, the other one was radiation therapy. When you hear that you might say, "Arrr! Chemotherapy? That's horrible!" But after I had surgery, usually people say, "Oh! Those nausea and vomiting were terrible!" But the same night after the surgery, I could eat congee. And the next day, I finished eating an entire lunch box. My family did not cook rice for me, so I ordered a box of rice from the hospital, and I ate the entire box. My appetite was good. After that, during the rehabilitation period, very soon I could walk about the next day, and tried to get more exercise. I could get up, and it was great!

After about two months I started to receive chemotherapy. It was really horrible. I felt ice-cold all over my body after each shot. During the period that followed, I lost all my hair. Now you see my hair looks good, but this is new hair. After that I went through radiation therapy. But during chemotherapy, I can thank God again, and thank the Reishi that I had been taking. For every time after chemotherapy, the next day I could get up at 6:30am, went down to the podium to practice Tai Chi Chuen. I never stopped doing that. All along, every time after I received chemotherapy, the very next day I could get up to practice Tai Chi Chuen. A lot of people say, "Oh! After chemotherapy we need to sleep and sleep the whole time for five days, and then slowly crawl, and crawl, and crawl up." But I could already get up the next day.

The whole treatment lasted about half a year. After half a year I went back to work. I have been working ever since. Now you see I am OK. I came here after normal working hours. Although I am tired, you can see I am not exhausted. Although I have put on some makeup, I don't look rundown! I am also really very happy to be able to be here with you together, eating together. This can witness that my God helped me, and these products helped me.

Thank you very much!
