A Sad Testimony from an angel in heaven

Hello!
My name is Betty Li. I became an angel in heaven on March 16, 2002. I was 14
years old. Why am I an angel in heaven? It is because I was sick for a long time
and started taking Reishi too late.
Let me tell you my story about Reishi. I had the horrible genetic disease called
MELAS. About this disease, my mommy had written a brief description in her
testimony. This disease made me very sick, and my body did not function
properly. I had been sick since I was a baby, but I was diagnosed to have this
disease when I was ten years old. Since then, I became worse day by day.
Starting from two years ago, I had muscle weakness. I could not walk. I forgot
everything that I learned. I had hearing-loss. I became almost blind. I had lots
of seizures and vomits. In the past few years, I was in and out the children
hospital so many times. The doctor expected that I could not grow up to
adulthood. My parents were so sad for me. There were no treatment for this
disease.
I had some very serious seizures and vomits in November 2001. By that time, my
doctor told my parents that I might not live through 15 years old. I was in
hospital for two weeks.
I started taking Reishi & Placenta in April 2001, right after my mommy
started to take it. In 2001, I was in hospital once in March and once in April.
Later, I still came back home. I continued taking Reishi & Placenta, but my
brain had already been seriously damaged by this disease, and my brain cells
were dying.
Because of Reishi & Placenta, I had more energy. Therefore I still had a
joyful summer in the year of 2001. This was the last summer in my life.
Unfortunately, I had the horrible seizures and vomits in November 2001. I was
admitted to the children hospital, and I stayed there for four months, until the
day I passed away. I became an angel in heaven!
When I was in the hospital, due to the hospital's policy, I was not allowed to
take any alternatives such as the Chinese herb, Reishi, etc. Therefore, I
stopped taking Reishi & Placenta. The worst time was the Christmas week in
2001 (my last Christmas) because I was in coma. The doctor predicted that I
would die any time because I had no vital signs shown. I had no responses to any
people or thing. Then my parents signed a required document for the hospital,
and I started taking Reishi & Placenta again on January 1, 2002. After two
weeks of taking Reishi & Placenta, I regained some responses. I could
recognize my daddy and mommy, I could say a few words, I could eat and drink
some food although I was fed by the G-tube. Because of the Reishi &
Placenta, I had my life prolonged for two more months. Since my brain cells were
on dying process, there were no treatments to save my life. I had seizures and
vomits back again at the end of February. I fell in semi-coma, and I had no
responses to anything. Finally, I had to say farewell to my dear daddy, mommy
and little brother Benny.
From my experience, it shows that Reishi has the benefits to prolong life. I
regret that I started taking Reishi too late. We should take Reishi for the
prevention of illness. Reishi is a very good supplement. I hope that people can
pay attention to their health and start taking Reishi to maintain a healthy
body, so that we can enjoy our life everyday.
