Highlights from the Chinese New Year Party on Feb. 15, 2003February 21, 2003
The number of guests who came to our Chinese New Year Party on Sat., Feb. 15, 2003 was far greater than our wildest expectations! We had already anticipated more guests than our office could accomodate. So this year our Party was held at Hall 3, G/F., City Garden Hotel, which has double the seating capacity of the auditorium in our office. But there were so many guests (about 150) that we had to move the reception table outside the Hall, so that we could add more chairs. Still, about two dozen guests could not enter the Hall because it was overcrowded. We must apologise to these guests. About half of the guest were first-time guests, and some of them came from abroad! Winnie was our Master of Ceremony. She greeted everyone with a big smile on her face and wished everyone a prosperous New Year. Then Dr. Ng also greeted everyone with Chinese New Year greetings. The program began with a series of 7 songs selected by Dr. Charles Lam and Dr. Gilbert Ng and led by a group of Christian singers from Dr. Lam's church. Dr. Lam played the guitar, and Dr. Ng played the keyboard. Everyone in the audience joined in the happy atmosphere, and many singed along with the group, with clapping hands. After the 6th song, the video-taped testimony of the late Mrs. Tau was shown to the audience. As a terminal cancer patient, she talked about how she overcomed her fear of death with the assurance of an eternal life. While she was in the hospital, she even helped another cancer patient and her family to turn from deep sorrow to peace, hope, and joy. Dr. Ng told the audience that in order to achieve good health, a healthy mind and spirit are also essential. This was why the songs and the video were selected. Then he went on to give a brief product presentation, and answered questions from the audience. Three guests gave their testimonies on using Rejuveno products: Ms Ho from Canada, Kennis, and Sally. Their testimonials were recorded on videotape which can be viewed at our Hong Kong office. Dr. Ng announced that there will be a Leaders Conference on March 29-30, 2003. There was a lucky draw with 3 prizes. Ms Lee, a first-time guest, won the First Prize. All prize winners had listened carefully to the speeches, so they could all answer the questions required for receiving the prizes. Because of the large crowd, the guests had to be split into two groups, one on the inside, and one on the outside of the Hall, in order to have tea and snack.

An hour of songs were led by a group Christian singers, with Dr. Lam at the guitar, and Dr. Ng at the keyboard.
